CITY ON LOCKDOWN

On January 6, 2021 a mob stormed the US Capitol.
​
In an effort to ensure a peaceful transfer of power, the government placed our nation’s Capitol under lockdown. These images capture the events that unfolded in the days that followed. The accompanying quotes were gathered from the few individuals who were in Washington, D.C. at the time. To protect their privacy, each quote has been randomly paired with a photograph.
